Reading Strategies Workshop

ESL I Reading:  We will be working on Unit 2 in North Star Reading and Writing Level 3 until Easter.  When we finish watching Catch Me if You Can, we will finish vocabulary work, further reading, and then write an essay of opinion regarding the Frank Abignale story.  Directions are forthcoming.


Developmental Reading:
We are currently reading Bearstone by Will Hobbs.  All work will be done in class.  The test will be the week of March 23.


English 5 Twentieth Century American Literature:
Students have selected their author and selection.  Many have begun their PowerPoints.  A link to the requirements will be posted soon.  The due date is Tuesday, March 23.  Presentations will begin on Monday, March 29 and continue sporadically throughout the second semester.
