Getting Started

What should I do if I wish to enroll my son/daughter at Saint Croix Lutheran High School?

Registration for New 9th Graders

We have three special days set aside for you to enroll your son/daughter as a 9th grader for the 2005 - 2006 school year:

  • Monday, March 31, 2005 -- 6:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 5, 2005 -- 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Monday, February 7, 2005 -- 6:00-7:30 p.m.

We send out information in January to all 8th graders whom we have on our mailing list giving details about these days. If you are planning to register on one of these two days and have not received any information by the end of January, you should contact the school and ask for information about Freshman Registration Day.

If you are not able to come during these registration dates, you should call the school and speak to the Principal, Mr. Richard Gibson. He will be happy to make a registration appointment. These appointments should be made as soon after February 11 as possible.

Registration for Grades 10-12

If you are interested in registering your son/daughter for grades 10-12 for the next school year, you will need to make an appointment with the Principal. Our registration for grades 10-12 begins in March. You may call the school any time after the end of February and ask for a registration appointment with the Principal.  If necessary, you may leave a message on his voice mail or .

You should be prepared to bring with you, from your child's present school, a copy of grades and standardized test scores, and a letter of recommendation to assist us in placing your child at the correct course level.

What If I'm Unsure Whether or Not to Enroll My Son/Daughter?

A. Plan a school day visit. Call the school and ask for the Admissions Office to set up a time. Or visit during one of the Open  Houses.

B. If you still have unanswered questions about Saint Croix, we have many people who could help you. You may start by calling the school and talking to Mr. Gibson, the Principal. You may also schedule an appointment to visit with Mr. Gibson,  if you feel that would be more helpful. When you have all your questions answered, we would then be happy to schedule a registration appointment.
