Tuition Information

Expenses for students are kept to a minimum. A registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. Students must also pay a tuition fee each year. For Association students, this tuition covers approximately half of the educational cost per pupil.

St. Croix's policy is that tuition be paid in a timely manner. St. Croix uses SMART, a tuition management service to facilitate the payment of tuition. Parents must enroll in the SMART tuition plan at registration time if they plan to make more than one payment for tuition.

Scholarships and Tuition Assisistance

It is the aim of St. Croix Lutheran High School that no student should be denied the opportunity to attend St. Croix because of a lack of financial resources. St. Croix has a tuition assistance program to help those who cannot meet the cost of tuition on their own. A financial aid committee reviews the requests for assistance on the basis of need. Those who request assistance are asked to fill out a form that gives the committee an idea of their financial need.

Available scholarships:

  • The Rev. Roman & Ellen Palmer Memorial Scholarship, the Scott Ude Scholarship, the Scott Waldhauser Scholarship, and the MISF tuition assistance award for student of color are all awarded on the basis of financial need
  • Jeremy R. Pieper Scholarship - awarded annually to one boy and one girl on the basis of financial need, academic performance and participation in extra-curricular activities.
  • Iona Lange Heath Scholarship - renewable award of $1,000/ year offered to qualified freshman students. Students are chosen on the basis of strong academic achievement, volunteer service to their church or community, and financial need as determined through the Tuition Assistance Program application.
  • Tim Harley scholarship - $1,000 award offered annually to two incoming freshman students. Students are chosen on the basis of: academic promise as attested to by the grade school or middle school principal; financial need indicating that the student would not be able to attend St. Croix without the Tim Harley scholarship. Financial need is determined through the Tuition Assistance Program application.

Additional information concerning these scholarships and Tuition Assistance applications can be obtained from the school office.
