Homecoming

For the celebration of St. Croix’s Homecoming 2008, the Student Council chose the theme "Catch the Fire."  Each class will be working on a class banner for the parade and a class skit to reflect the theme. Instead of building parade floats, each class is creating a 10-foot banner portraying the theme, "Catch the Fire," which will be carried by class members in the parade on Friday.

[Events below subject to change without notice.]

Skit / Pepfest Night Wednesday, October 8
A highlight of Homecoming Week is the Class and Faculty Skits which will be presented Wednesday, October 8, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Gym. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the competition between the classes and the faculty. Points are awarded for the best skit, as judged by a panel of faculty and staff. Homecoming Royalty is crowned following the skits.

Class Teams Compete
Each class will also be recruiting the following teams: dodge ball (10 girls, 10 boys), Powder Puff Football (11 girls and one coach – if needed – on the field at once), indoor soccer (5 players + 1 goalie, 3 girls minimum), banner committee, and skit committee.

As is St. Croix tradition, each day of Homecoming Week will have a “dress-up” theme and an activities schedule for the game or activity of the day.
