Mission Statement
St. Croix Lutheran High School is committed to educating the total student - spiritually, academically and physically — in a caring, Christian family community.
St. Croix offers students a faith-based education, as witnessed in our daily chapel service, religion classes and the Christian values we integrate in all aspects of school life. Our alumni demonstrate in their choices that the value of a St. Croix education lasts a lifetime.
St. Croix is a member of the Tri-Metro Athletic Conference, which includes area private and parochial schools. About 70 percent of our students participate in at least one sport. We compete in 24 different sports interscholastically, including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, track and volleyball. Our recently expanded and upgraded athletic complex includes one of the best tracks in the metro area, a football field, soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds and tennis courts, as well as a gymnasium and weight room.
St. Croix offers a college-prep curriculum during a two-semester school year. Students take core classes to meet graduation requirements and participate in a variety of electives. We have Advanced Placement (AP) classes in Calculus, Chemistry, English, Physics and Psychology. St. Croix participates in the state-sponsored Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO), which allows qualifying juniors and seniors to take classes at the college level. Vocational-technical and on-the-job training programs are available off campus. Our small average class size provides a healthy learning environment in which students feel valued.
